더 일찍 했어야 했거나 더 일찍 일어났어야 했다고 생각하는 것을 누군가가 하거나 일이 일어날 때 쓰임

 

ex)

"So Ben's finally found a job." "Yeah, it's about time."

"그래서 Ben은 마침내 일자리를 찾았습니다." "그래, 이미 그랬어야 됐어."

 

 

 

If you say it is about time that something was done, you are saying in an emphatic way that it should happen or be done now, and really should have happened or been done sooner.

발생한 어떤 일에 'it is about time' 이라고 말한다면, 그 일이 지금 일어나거나 해야 하고, 정말로 일어났거나 더 빨리 했어야 했다는 점을 강조
