난 네가 안 떠났으면 좋겠어. 하지만 그게 잘하는 일일지도 몰라.

 

 

 

If an action is 'for the best', it is done to improve a situation or produce a good result, although it might seem unpleasant at the time

어떤 행동이 'for the best'라면 당시에는 불쾌해 보일 수도 있지만 상황을 개선하거나 좋은 결과를 얻기 위해 하는 것

Ending a relationship is always hard but in this case it's for the best.

관계를 끝내는 것은 항상 어렵지만 이 경우에는 최선일 것이다.

어떤 일이 'for the best'라고 말하면 모든 상황을 고려할 때 일어날 수 있거나 행할 수 있었던 가장 바람직하거나 도움이 되는 일을 의미
