ex)

This house is big enough for the moment, but we’ll have to move if we have children.

지금은 이 집 크기가 충분하지만 우리에게 아이들이 생기면 이사를 해야 할 것이다.

 

 

 

If you do something for the moment, you are doing it now, but might do something different in the future

만약 당신이 무언가를 'for the moment" 한다면, 지금은 그 일을 하고 있지만 미래에는 다른 일을 할 수도 있다는 의미

 

ex)

Let's keep doing what we agreed for the moment.

지금은 우리가 합의한 것을 계속 합시다.

 

 

 

You use for the moment to indicate that something is true now, even if it will not be true in the future.

'for the moment'는 미래에 사실이 아니더라도, 지금은 사실임을 나타낼 때 사용

 

ex)

For the moment, however, the government is happy to live with it. 

하지만 현재로선 정부는 이를 기꺼이 받아들일 방침이다.

 

 

 

used to say that something is happening or is true now but will probably change in the future

어떤 일이 현재 일어나고 있거나 사실이지만 미래에는 아마도 바뀔 것이라고 말할 때 사용
