ex)

If no one else wants it, we might as well give it to him. 

다른 사람이 아무도 그것을 원하지 않으면 그것을 그에게 주는 편이 제일 낫다.

 

 

 

used to suggest doing something, often when there is nothing better to do

더 나은 할 일이 없을 때 무엇인가를 하자고 제안하는 데 사용

 

ex)

We might as well walk there.

우리는 거기까지 걸어가는 편이 낫습니다.

 

 

 

If you say that you might as well do something, or that you may as well do it, you mean that you will do it although you do not have a strong desire to do it and may even feel slightly unwilling to do it.

만약 당신이 "you might as well do something "라고 말한다면, 또는 " you may as well do it"라고 말한다면, 당신이 그것을 하고 싶은 강한 욕구가 없고 심지어 약간은 하고 싶지 않은 느낌이 들더라도 그것을 할 것이라는 뜻입니다.

피할 수 없거나 하지 말아야 할 타당한 이유가 없기 때문에 어떤 일을 하거나 받아들여야 한다고 말하는 데 사용
